Complete IT Infrastructure Set-Up including the Implementation of All Software for a Nationwide Airline Provider
The aim of this project was to establish an IT Infrastructure to support a fast-expanding company providing aviation ground services such as maintenance, gate and checking processes. The Company started operation with 300 staff at four locations and expanded rapidly to 2,400 staff at 24 locations within Germany. The overall task was to develop a sound strategy to enable an easy extension of the existing infrastructure at any point in time. Besides the base infrastructure, all required applications needed to be provided. This included the support of the maintenance business process and its conversion to a computer-driven process. This project included training of all staff to fulfil their duties.
Globe-spanning Company Communication Technology System Set-up
This project was an extension of “Complete IT Infrastructure Set-Up including the Implementation of all Software for a Nationwide Airline Provider”. It targeted the implementation of business processes to enable the company to communicate easily and without delay on an international basis. The critical part in this project was the establishment of a business process that could ensure that critical maintenance information was available at the required location without any delay to ensure that the Airline operation could run smoothly. At a later point in time, this project was extended by an IT system that supported the then existing business process.
Companywide Implementation of a Financial System

Worldwide Rollout of a Common IT Platform of around 10,000 Workstations
This project included a total of 356 locations and 10,000 workstations. We covered all business aviation processes, which were changed dramatically with the implementation of this common platform. Besides the development of the platform, this project included:
- The preparation of each location
- The implementation of the required change management and risk management processes in order to ensure the operation at each specific location would not be endangered
- Roll back tests
- Training of all staff
- Pre transition tests
- Cutover and post cutover support
The major changes were put into place within the Airport ground services. The check-in procedure and boarding procedure were successfully changed worldwide. In addition to all business process activities, we had to ensure that the new IT equipment was in place on time and the new processes for the operation of the IT environment were put into action. The project was successfully completed within 12 months.
